NEW Pond's Luminous Line Review + WIN IT ALL!

When it comes to skincare, I'm constantly looking for the latest & greatest. Currently my skin is really dry, needs significant exfoliation, & isn't up to par. Boo. I'm also acne prone (thank you stress) so right now I'm in a world of hurt. Or at least, that was last week before the Pond's Luminous line hit my radar.

POND’S® Luminous Line keeps skin looking bright and luminous all day. The line includes a Wet Cleansing Towelette, moisturizer and collection of cleansers that brighten dull skin. The Towelettes are enriched with moisturizing ingredients and soft white Kaolin clay known to act like a magnet, to gently draw out dirt, makeup and deep-dwelling impurities leaving skin bright and luminous.

The latest addition to the POND’S® Luminous Line, POND’S® Luminous Moisture™ Day Lotion with SPF 15 is enriched with illuminating minerals. The weightless SPF 15 formula contains UVA and UVB sun protection against skin-damaging rays. The complete Luminous Line is available at mass retailers, select drugstores and supermarkets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $4.99 - $5.79.

Although not geared toward breakouts, this line has my skin looking so much better. The word luminous is such a good description for glowy skincare. It makes me think of fairy lights, Cinderella's dress, & warm sunlight. Doesn't it sound divine? Okay, a bit off topic but totally true. Let's talk about why I'm digging these shall we?

Pond's Luminous Clean Cream Cleanser- I learned very quickly that less is more, about a pea sized amount with fluff up nicely & I'm able to wash my entire face. I really like this scent, it smells so clean & fresh. This contains white clay & it does remove remnants of my makeup nicely. I've been using this at night with my regular routine. It isn't too moisturizing (by that I mean no weird films left on my skin) but it doesn't leave me feeling tight either.

Pond's Luminous Clean Daily Exfoliating Cleanser- This cleanser contains a fine micro exfoliant within the super milky & pearl-y creamy cleanser. It appears identical to the Cream Cleanser plus the exfoliants. This is meant to be used daily so don't expect something harsh. I've been using this in the morning to help me remove the night routine from my face without being too harsh. I like it for daily use without damaging my dry skin.

Pond's Luminous Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes- These towlettes are quite pleasant & I actually like their quilted texture. They are very wet which is a huge plus for me. They also smell clean & lovely. These are really large makeup wipes too so I take them down my neck & chest too. Perfect after a workout & they actually get off quite a bit of makeup.

Pond's Luminous Moisture Day Lotion with SPF 15- This actually does leave my skin looking more glowy without looking greasy. I love this packaging because it reminds me more of a foundation than a bulky moisturizer. This only has SPF 15 so I'd have to use a foundation with SPF to feel comfortable with a full days wear. It is also thin enough that I can apply makeup over it without issue.
