I'm the first to say foundation is something I have trouble with. I have combination dry skin so moisturizers are a huge part of my life & often clash with anything long wearing. I also have freckles (oh, you didn't know? ha.) so sometimes too full coverage & I can look like a completely different person & too light & all I notice are my freckles. All of the shades I received coordinate well with my fair skin & I'll talk more about the color match below. Let's start with talking about the foundation! My foundation is in the shade 001 Porcelain & it is an excellent color match! I find it to be slightly yellow toned but also pretty neutral. I didn't find an odd scent & it looks very natural. I love the finish, not too dewy or matte but like I said, natural. This pod is larger than the other two which, obviously, makes sense! I hover a bit over my spots or extra redness & that does the trick!

The blush in the video is by far the best visual lesson: less is more & it has real pigment. I figured it would be sheer & went to town...wrong. Plus I held it wayyyy too close to my face. The shade I have is 401 Pale Pink & it is a very peachy, natural pink shade. I think it applied well & I like to blend it a bit with my fingers since I prefer a softer line.

My last pod & Temptu step is with the highlighter in 301 Champagne. I'm a highlight obsessed blogger so I went to town. I seriously love this highlighter, I'd break out this machine just for that honestly because it is that pretty. You can see the big difference in the video. In fact I like it so much that I was sad to stop.

Here's the little directions for how to hook the pods up, it really is easier than I had imagined. In fact, I give surprise face a few times in the video because I was expecting to work harder.

Some Quick Tips I Learned:

- Don't be afraid to hold it further away from your face. I have had zero issue with it going where I don't want it to. Unlike many spray foundations, this one doesn't leave a haze in my room either. It is kind of like magic.

- Work that trigger finger. Pull it back for denser coverage or lightly for lighter coverage. Practice a few times & it is honestly second nature.

- If you have dry skin like me, make sure you apply a good moisturizer. This isn't drying but after applying BB/CC creams all week I had totally forgotten. I think it helps to create an even canvas.

- Find your perfect setting. I used the lowest in the video because I wanted to get the hang of it but it goes a whole lot faster when you're more comfortable & can move the dial up some so that coverage faster.

-When using it for foundation, circular motions really do work best. Much like buffing in foundation with a brush, circular motions give the most natural finish. Plus, small circles helps you to cover without overdoing it.

- Don't leave it out if you have cats that assume they own everything. Seriously. I now have it tucked safely but it was a close kitten call.

So overall, very impressed! I had no idea the Temptu airbrush system would be this easy or nearly this fast to do myself. I think this is an amazing investment & really...not that expensive for everything you're getting either. I can see this being a big hit before dance recitals, holiday dinners, & even for more mature skin because it is such even coverage & you have so much control.
